One of the most popular parts about this board is that the property deeds slip right onto the board in a special slot over its property spot on the board. With the awesome way that the property cards fit on the board, it’s really very easy to see which properties are still available.

This is a “full” or classic version of Star Wars Monopoly. The game isn’t shortened, it’s the normal rules and there are 40 spaces on the board. If you know how to play Monopoly, then this is really easy to play.

Star Wars Episode II Monopoly adds a new element to the classic Monopoly rules. In this version, there are two “force tokens” that stay on the board. If the dice come up just right, you can move the force tokens around the board. If they land on a space where a character token is, then that character loses some Republic Credits (money).

Other than that, it’s a full Star Wars Monopoly board, with all 40 spaces and classic rules.

There are pewter 8 Star Wars Monopoly Game Pieces that come with Episode 2.  The characters are Obi-Wan Kenobi, Anakin Skywalker, Padme Amidala, Mace Windu, Count Dooku, Jango Fett, Battle Droid and Clone Trooper.

One of the things that makes this Star Wars Monopoly Board Game unique is the focus on minor characters. There are already some boards that had major characters, but in this board you get 4 major characters and 4 minor characters.

The game pieces that come in the Original Trilogy Edition are Darth Vader, Luke Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, R2-D2, Grand Moff Tarkin, Lando Calrissian, Tusken Raider, and TIE Fighter Pilot.

The Monopoly board is high quality. Instead of houses and hotels you use ships – X-Wings and TIE Fighters instead of houses and Corellian freighters and Star Destroyers for the hotels.

This is a very nice set, released in 1997, marking the 20th anniversary of the release of the original Star Wars movie.

Another interesting thing about this board is that it’s the only Star Wars Monopoly set with a Chewbacca. Crazy, right? But true.

The Limited Collectors Edition includes these game pieces: Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, Chewbacca, Han Solo, Darth Vader, Stormtrooper, R2-D2, and Boba Fett.

Star Wars Monopoly Saga Edition

The Saga Edition has at least one character from each of the first 6 films.

You may have noticed that there was a Star Wars Monopoly board for both Episode I and Episode II, but not for Episode III.

Well, at least not specifically. But the Saga Edition was released after The Revenge of the Sith came out, and it is kind of a “best of” for all of the films.

This is a really popular board because it has such a great collection of characters included with it.
